About Beth

As a lifelong student, I have worked hard to develop ways to intake complex information and retain and understand it! My goal is to help students fully understand concepts and how they interact, not just memorization. After my BS in Biology, I earned my PhD in Immunology and my MBA. I have experience in a wide variety of fields and understand that everyone learns differently.

About the lesson

As an Immunologist, I have a strong background in a variety of sciences, and have experience with practical applications of math and writing! I am available for high school biology through college level molecular biology, genetics, and immunology. Additionally I can help with scientific writing such as essays and lab reports.

I am also available for algebra level math, and college testing (ACT/SAT).

I have been tutoring on and off since I was in college, from one on one to small group settings. I have mentored many trainees and focus on asking targeted questions to encourage students to develop critical thinking skills.
