About Hamish
My name is Hamish Guthrie and I've been involved with education for over two decades.
Beginning as a primary school teacher, I've taught across all areas of the New Zealand curriculum, and for the past 10 years have worked with teen-agers and adults up help them bridge their gaps to achieve new heights.
I currently teach second chance adult learners to improve their literacy, numeracy and life skills and have a governance role as the chairperson on the school board at my son's school.
