About Izzy
I work across the NDIS, private practice, and community settings, with a strong passion for pediatric nutrition, fussy eating, infant nutrition, and disordered eating. I also have background experience in aged care and adult nutrition, including weight management and diabetes care. Outside of work, I love cooking and enjoy experimenting with new recipes each week, exploring different flavors, ingredients, and culturally diverse meals as well as teaching my 3 year old niece how to cook with different foods.

My tutoring approach is structured, evidence-based, and tailored to each student’s learning needs and goals. I focus on breaking down complex nutrition and dietetics concepts into clear, practical steps, using real-world clinical examples to strengthen understanding and application. I emphasize active learning, including guided discussion, case-based reasoning, and exam-focused practice questions to build confidence and critical thinking skills.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, with flexibility depending on workload, assessment deadlines, and student preference.
I am a qualified Dietitian (DT), Master of Dietetics graduate, and Nutrition Science graduate with additional training in gut–brain health. I bring emerging clinical experience across medical nutrition therapy, nutrition care planning, and both pediatric and adult nutrition contexts, allowing me to link theory with real clinical practice.
My lessons are designed for high school students studying health or biology, undergraduate nutrition and dietetics students, and early clinical dietetics trainees seeking support with foundational knowledge, academic writing, or clinical reasoning development.
