About Sanjana

I am a B.Ed qualified teacher by profession. My teaching journey started in the year 2019 when I joined Kindercare school as a contractual teacher. I have taught there for 4 months as the class teacher of nursery class and nurtured them before switching to Euro Kids International pre school. At EuroKids International, I have served various roles and responsibilities for 22 months starting from July, 2019 to April, 2021. My role as Eurokids was diversified as I was coordinator and the Head of teachers along with being a class teacher to playgroup students. During this span of 26 months of teaching, I have fostered and guided over 50 students.
Soon after, I switched from Eurokids to an online teaching platform. I joined an Edtech Platform specialised in holistic growth and all kinds of skills developments called “The Playbook”. I joined the organisation as a Mentor and Operations Associate and slowly and steadily climbed up the ranks to become the Lead Mentor and Content Development Associate in a span of 19 months. I was awarded the "best mentor" at the 2nd annual Town Hall by the Founder of our organization. In these 19 months, I have nurtured over 3000 young minds and helped them learn, understand and polish their skills and passion towards story writing, poems, creative writing and public speaking…… Along with these, I was actively working with the operations team. My inputs were with content and curriculum creation. Alongside, as a trainer I was also involved with training new mentors and help them with a smooth onboarding process. Side by side I have conducted youtube live sessions on English, Mathematics and logical reasoning and have had the opportunity to host quiz competitions where students from renowned schools from across the globe have participated.
While working for all these institutions, I have also taught students as a private tutor for almost 5 years. I have taught students studying in Nursery to class 5-6 students. During that period apart from teaching them with their studies, I have also helped them in realising and focusing on their passion and enthusiasm for various extra curricular activities startung from drawing and sketching, poem and story writing, essay writing, updating general knowledge etc.
So, I can conclude by saying that my 5 years of teaching journey has not only taught me new ways to teach students but has also given me the experience and opportunity to guide young minds into building a fruitful future for them. It also gives me immense satisfaction and pleasure when I see the bright smiles on the faces of my students and their parents and I feel that I have been able to make a difference in their lives. The journey so far is a colourful one as I have always intended to put my mind, heart and soul into it and not just keep it strictly professional.

About the lesson

My method of teaching is student centric. I believe that every individual and their thought processes are unique hence understanding each mind and nurturing them in the same way is the way I swear by. I love teaching and furthermore I would love to impart my knowledge to those in need and help them realise their best potential.
