About Maxine
I am a qualified Foundation Phase teacher with a B.Ed Honours degree in Remedial teaching. I taught Grade 3 for 6 years and have been teaching learners with Special Needs for the last 6 months. I have a passion for teaching and enjoy making learning fun for kids. I am a firm believer that if learning is fun and interactive one retains more information and develops a passion for a subject easily.

I teach learners from Gr. R - 3. I am extremely patient and love getting to know my students in order for me to teach them in the best way possible.
My teaching method is interactive and practical and I base my classes on the interests and every day activities of the learners. I am very creative and I encourage them to use their imaginations.

If the lesson is cancelled on the day then half of the hourly rate will be retained and if your child does not show up for a scheduled lesson without informing me more than an hour before the time, no refund will be offered.
