About Victoria
I have been teaching yoga for 4 years now for studios in Edinburgh and moved over to Lewis in the summer of 2025. I love being a yoga teacher so much that it influenced a big career change from architecture to physiotherapy, which I am now studying. I have a fascination with movement and how it heals and influences both our physical and mental health. Motion is lotion and the more we move our bodies, the more we can move our bodies. I say it to my patients all the time that if you came up with a perfectly accessible, all-encompassing and enjoyable practice for mobility, balance and strength, it would be yoga. Join my classes for the perfect mixture of some spicy challenges, the chance to push yourself and your abilities, and also time for deep relaxation and restoration.

In my personal practice, the most valuable and rewarding position is savasana, and when teachers say this, believe them. The hardest thing about yoga in my opinion isn't getting your leg over your head or building up a sweat - it's the parts of the class where you are meant to do nothing. It's so hard in today's world to feel truly relaxed and secure enough to just let go, to the point I believe many of us have never felt what true relaxation really is. It's for that reason that my whole class is focused on getting the most out of you during the class, and winding down as much as possible until you let go completely and feel that release.
