About Teri
I have a BS degree in mathematics. In my spare time, I like arts and crafts, reading, and spending time with my pets. I was a high school teacher in the state of California about 10 years ago. My certificate is expired because I decided to pursue other career interests for a while, but now I’m looking forward to teaching again. I have all kinds of strange and quirky interests. My teaching/pedagogical methods include making lots of comparisons and using funny mnemonics (aka memory aids) to help the material seem more concrete and easier to understand. I was a high school teacher in the state of California about 10 years ago. I’ve also done some substitute teaching, so I’ve been exposed to many different classrooms and teaching styles. I’m very flexible and will use the approach that is best for you. Some of us are verbal learners whereas others are more visual; it’s all tailored to you as an individual!
