About Maryam

I have always been passionate about education and healthcare. From a young age, I knew that I wanted to pursue a career that would allow me to make a positive impact on the lives of others. As I continued my own academic journey, I found that my love for learning only grew stronger, and I knew that I wanted to share that enthusiasm with others.

As I progressed through my own education, I had the privilege of working with some truly inspirational teachers and mentors. Their dedication and commitment to their students left a profound impression on me, and I realised that I wanted to follow in their footsteps.

As a tutor, I have found that working with students one-on-one allows me to make an even greater impact on their academic journey. I am able to tailor my approach to each student's unique needs and learning style, helping them to build the skills and knowledge they need to succeed. Seeing my students grow and develop over time is incredibly rewarding, and I am constantly inspired by their curiosity and enthusiasm.

Teaching is not just a job to me; it is a calling. I believe that education is the key to unlocking endless opportunities and empowering individuals to reach their full potential. Through my work as a tutor, I hope to make a positive impact on the lives of my students and help them to realize their own academic and personal goals.

About the lesson

When it comes to teaching Science, I believe that hands-on experiments and interactive activities are essential to truly understanding the material. I work with students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, encouraging them to explore scientific concepts and apply them to real-world situations. I also emphasise the importance of scientific communication, helping students to write clear and concise lab reports and presentations.

In English tutoring, I focus on building strong reading and writing skills. Whether it's analysing literature or crafting persuasive essays, I work with students to improve their understanding of language and develop their own unique writing voice. I encourage active participation and discussion, helping students to develop the confidence and communication skills necessary for success in all areas of life.

Above all, my approach to tutoring is centered around the student. I believe that education should be a collaborative process, with each session tailored to the individual needs and goals of the student. By fostering a positive and encouraging learning environment, I help students to achieve their full potential and build the skills they need for academic success.
