About Shervin
I am a former Northern Virginia Community College math tutor who have helped several college students passing their math classes with satisfactory grades. I have three years of teaching experience both in a group setting and individual. As a Biomedical Engineer, I have taken different math subjects such as precalculus, calculus, and differential Equation which allow me to well versed in these topics.

My approach is to explain the fundamentals with examples before diving deep into subject. This allows my students to have a solid understanding in order to solve math problems. I am very patient tutor when it comes to teaching my favorite math topic. At the end of each session, I would hand out homework that is due the following session to ensure the students comprehend the topic.
