I use a standards-based curriculum that aligns with national standards. Each lesson begins with a warm-up that gets the math muscles going. Then, we discuss the lesson's learning objectives. Next, I'll demonstrate how to solve a problem based on that lesson's objective. Then, we'll do one or two together. After that, I'll watch you do a problem and afterwards we'll review together. Based on that, we'll move on to the next one or work on it a little more. At the end of the lesson, we'll have a couple of problems to see how well you mastered that lesson.
