I have taught in public schools for 22 years. I am certified in my state (NC) to teach social studies/history/social sciences grades 6 to 12, and mathematics grades 6 to 9. I have tutored students in math from arithmetic to college algebra.
I have lots of experience teaching organization skills, and remediation classes in reading, writing, and math.
I tend to use pictures and diagrams, often amusing due to my lack of artistic talent. I love making connections to other subjects and real world situations.
