About Alisha
Hi! I’m Alisha, a second-year Criminology student at University College Cork. I’m friendly, patient and easy to talk to, and I always want my students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes while they learn.
I have a genuine interest in Criminology, English and the Social Sciences, and I enjoy making difficult topics easier to understand. I can help with understanding coursework, improving essay writing, preparing for exams and building confidence in your abilities.
My aim is to make lessons feel relaxed and supportive while still helping you make real progress. I’ll work at your pace and adapt lessons around what you find most challenging.

I like to keep my lessons relaxed, friendly and easy to follow. I know that everyone learns differently, so I always try to adapt my teaching style to what works best for each student. Whether you need help understanding a topic, improving your writing, preparing for exams or simply feeling more confident, I’m happy to help.
I like to explain things in a simple way and use examples, practice questions and discussions to make lessons more interesting. I also encourage students to ask questions and get involved rather than just memorising everything.
Lessons are usually around 1 hour, but I’m happy to be flexible depending on what you need. I’m currently a second-year Criminology student at University College Cork, and I really enjoy helping others understand subjects and feel more confident in their work.
