I am a Secondary Psychology and Japanese teacher. I have been giving lessons since 3 years ago.
I have experience in teaching online/distance education.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts/Education (Secondary) and a CELTA certificate. from The University of Queensland.
I have a background in teaching other languages such as English as a Second Language and Chinese.
I have also been giving private piano lessons since 2 years ago.

I am a patient, enthusiastic and dedicated person who is passionate about teaching and a life-long learner.
I aim to create a student-centred, interactive, fun and safe environment in my lessons.
Teaching is supporting and encouraging students to learn. For me, I always think that active learning is important for my students because it creates an enjoyable experience and motivates them to learn.
I want to make a difference in students’ lives because I believe that education is really important and I also want to help inspire students to love learning as much as I do.
I also believe that teaching students how to think and not what to think is crucial in this process.

Phoebe is a very dedicated and kind-hearted teacher. She went above and beyond to tailor her teaching style to my learning needs and goals. Learning a new language can make you feel very vulnerable but Phoebe was able to create a safe learning space that was very comfortable and fun.
