About Tanya

I am a singer that has performed various genres of music, from folk, music theater and metal to opera, at various companies venues in the world, such as Edmonton Opera, Oper Graz, The Starlite Room in Edmonton, and much more. I have studied singing at various universities and countries and I hold Master’s degrees in Voice from the University of Toronto and Kunsthniversität Graz. The career of an international singer also requires me to accompany myself when I learn my music, as well as to speak various languages, which is where my knowledge of piano and Russian, English and German languages comes from.

About the lesson

I have taught singing, piano, music theory, performance techniques, as well as languages at various schools, privately, in-person and online. I offer individual and group instruction, individually tailored lesson plans, based on your goals and learning preferences. Sign up and let’s make learning fun and super interesting!

Perfect! Tatiana is phenomenal. I’ve had singing teachers before, but I’ve never learned as quickly as with her. She has a way of making you feel good about your progress as a singer. She celebrates the small and large victories and is always encouraging. She’s specific with her feedback and explains things in a way that just makes sense. Before the lessons with Tatiana, I thought singing was just an impossible thing to do. Tatiana has helped me enormously in order to improve my singing technique and confidence.

It still amazed me how in just some lessons the changes can be so noticable.

She adapted very well to my practically 0 experience (if singing in the shower doesn't count), giving me practical advices on how to get quickly and efficiently to the desired outcome (performing a good Karaoke).

She taught me all the exercises to make a smooth introduction to the world of singing.
