About Eli
I am a singing tutor with over 5 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music Education with a focus on voice. My passion lies in vocal storytelling, especially through Jazz Standards, Broadway solos, and Golden Age repertoire. I love helping students bring songs to life with swing phrasing, jazz ornamentation, and character interpretation. Reading and interpreting lead sheets is an important skill I emphasise, enabling singers to confidently approach diverse pieces. I work with passionate adults, seasoned singers, and community theatre actors who want to deepen their musical expression. Each lesson is a journey into style and emotion, where we explore how to connect with the story behind the music. I guide my students in finding their unique voice while honouring the classic charm of these timeless genres.
