About Connor

My name is Connor McWilliams.I graduated from New Prague High School and I currently attend the University of Minnesota Duluth.I want to educate others in the gift of music. I have been playing guitar for over 8 years; performing in church, school concerts, and other recitals as well as around my friends and family. I also played frequently on the streets of Europe during my travels.
I remember when my mom first signed me up for guitar lessons. I told her that I wasn’t too interested in guitar anymore and didn’t want to go. She said “That’s too bad. I already paid for it so you are going”. I am so glad she did that. Learning guitar has been one of best things to ever happen to me. It has taught me how to be resilient and push through struggles,as well as the art of staying consistent. Guitar also gifts me countless rewards along the way. Learning guitar was one of the most fulfilling and rewarding experiences I have ever had. It truly set me up with a strong foundation and mindset for life in general.

About the lesson

My style of teaching is more modern and shaped to help the specific student at hand. I can teach anything from reading music, chords and technical fundamentals, creating your own music, and much more.I love all music so whatever you like we can make happen! I’ve had experience teaching my friends and family in the past, and want to continue to help others learn this amazing skill! My mom ran a daycare in my house as a kid, so I’m very good with children, but I can also teach adults and all skill levels.
