About Mykayla
The main reason behind my interest in teaching is because I find joy in helping people, if I have the skillset to assist someone, why not share it. As a Law student, I chose Law to help people and the same goes for teaching. It is a passion that is ingrained within me. I will treat you with the most respect and kindness as well as always being patient. Patience is a crucial point of my teaching skills as it helps me assist and understand my students to the best of my ability. I have completed my TEFL certificate giving me the knowledge on how to structure each lesson, identify the areas of difficulty my students are faced with and actively update my lesson plans in a fun and playful manner. Learning is fun and I want my students to feel it! In my experience, education is power so why not try to make it enjoyable as well.

- With proficiency in English, students will not go wrong with me. I have written and continue to write essays and exams in high level formal English.
- Patience and understanding of the key areas that students struggle in are one of my main focuses, I evaluate this in order to build their skillset and help them feel confident about the subject.
- In each lesson you will come out feeling confident and not afraid of anything else your teacher throws at you because here to help.
- My lessons are individually altered to the year my student is in and his\her areas of weakness, as we build on that we will also ensure every area of the curriculum is covered.
