About Ashley
I have over 10 years of experience teaching and supporting language learners from a wide range of backgrounds and proficiency levels. I am passionate about helping students build genuine confidence in English through patience, encouragement, and practical communication skills.
Outside of teaching, I work full-time in family law, which has given me strong experience with professional communication, writing, organization, and explaining complex concepts clearly. I bring that same calm and supportive approach into my lessons.
I especially enjoy working with complete beginners and students who may feel intimidated or discouraged by language learning. I believe mistakes are an important part of growth, and I strive to create a learning environment where students feel comfortable speaking, asking questions, and developing naturally over time.
I also enjoy working with advanced learners and professionals who want to deepen their understanding of English beyond textbook fluency, including pronunciation, nuance, natural phrasing, and professional communication.
As someone deeply interested in linguistics and language acquisition, I love helping students use their existing language knowledge to their advantage.
