About Catherine
I have ten years of experience teaching at the middle and high school levels. I am a track and basketball coach and a mom of two boys under the age of six. There’s nothing I cannot tackle with determination and grit. I paid my way through college and learned firsthand the value of hard work and never giving up. We all have a story to tell and I look forward to helping others grow theirs!

I am a committed and passionate educator who has a wide range of knowledge in various Social Science fields, as well as historical topics and eras. I thoroughly enjoy educating students in relevant and meaningful ways that brings history to life! I do not believe studying history should be defined as anything other than developing a deep appreciation and understanding of our past and how it continues to impact the present. As an active citizen, we owe it to ourselves to explore various cultures and global themes so that we can gain a better understanding of what makes us unique and how we as individuals fit in this world! I aim to make sessions engaging, light-hearted relevant and fun!
