About Wendy
Beginners who want to hear their own ideas played back through speakers often struggle with the mechanics of the fretboard. When the room smells like old tube amps and dust, the real work of creating music finally begins. I have 11 years of experience playing in 6 bands and releasing 4 records across the New York metro area.
Helping others navigate tuning and maintenance while cleaning up electric and acoustic technique remains my favorite part of the job. I assist students with chord transitions, reading sheet music, and barre chords to ensure their ideas flow naturally. Mastering ear training and power chords is just fun.

Since the focus is on the writing, we move quickly through the technical hurdles so the song stays the priority. It feels like we are just hanging out, yet the progress on your compositions remains steady and measurable.
My BA in Modern Music informs how I break down complex theory into manageable shortcuts for your own projects. These sessions are designed to move past standard performance drills to focus on the structure of your music. We solve tone problems and arrangement issues that often stall the creative process in the studio. You will use the guitar to build your sound, rather than just playing parts written by other people, allowing the music to develop at its own pace.
