About Emily A
I am committed to creating a respectful, supportive, and structured learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing new skills. My experience in both education and behavior analysis allows me to approach each student as an individual and adjust instruction based on their academic, behavioral, and learning needs.

I am a Special Education teacher and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with a bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Florida International University (FIU). I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) at Capella University.
My teaching approach is patient, individualized, and student-centered. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching methods to each learner’s strengths, needs, and learning style. I incorporate evidence-based teaching strategies, positive reinforcement, modeling, repetition, visual supports, and step-by-step instruction to make learning engaging and achievable.
