About Lucy
Outside the classroom, I’m passionate about cats and gardening. I have three cats named after Studio Ghibli characters, and I love cultivating a garden full of flowers and vegetables. I also enjoy music; I achieved Grade 8 singing as a teenager and now sing in a choir and play guitar in my spare time.

I am an engaging, motivating, and caring teacher who works in a highly personalised way to help young people find learning methods that genuinely work for them. As a neurodivergent educator, I draw on my own experiences to create structured, creative, and accessible approaches that support students in building confidence. I specialise in teaching essay structure, organisation, and study skills—areas I had to master myself—so I’m particularly sensitive to the needs of neurodivergent learners and able to adapt my teaching to help every student succeed. I believe students learn best when their interests are valued, so I make a point of connecting my teaching to their hobbies and passions. This helps create lessons that feel meaningful, enjoyable, and empowering.
