About Anindia
Hi, I'm Anindia, an artist based in London!
My practice is built around automatic drawing and mixed media. I studied architecture so my approach to making and teaching is deeply rooted in both the body and space.
I teach because I genuinely believe that drawing is something everyone can access, not as a skill to be perfected, but as a way of listening to yourself. In my sessions, there is no pressure to produce something beautiful or correct. We explore together, and I learn from every session too.
I work well with curious people of all ages and backgrounds, whether you have never picked up a pencil before, or you draw regularly and want to try something freer and less controlled.

This is not a drawing class. There is no right way to do it, and nothing gets wrong.
In this relaxed, conversational session, we explore automatic drawing, a practice of letting go the hand move without the mind directing it. You choose your materials (pen, pencil, charcoal, watercolour, paint - anything you like), put on some quiet music if you wish, and begin. What comes out is yours: a visual record of what your body knows before it stops to think.
We start with a brief introduction to automatic drawing - its history, logic, and how it sits at the centre of my own practice as an artist. Then, we draw. The session is open and unhurried. We talk, we mark, we see what surfaces.
No experience needed. Children are welcome (Enhanced DBS checked). Willingness and curiosity required.

I am an artist based in London, currently exhibiting internationally. With a background in architecture, I explore drawing as a bodily act. In these sessions, that exploration becomes a shared one.
