About Raeven
I am a student that has been studying linguistics, some computer science, and world languages (Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Latin, French) either in school or independantly since my sophomore year of high school. Currently, I am going into my third year of college, but have the credits and class experience of someone going into their fourth year. In regards to tutoring experience, I have held multiple tutoring sessions with five fellow students who were struggling in various classes. Namely, Spanish, trigonometry, college geometry, and English composition, and literature. Not only did their grades improve, but they also became better off in their respective subject fields overall.

I am an optomistic, outside-the-box problem solver who prefers to give my lessons by first getting to know each person a little, and then adjusting my teaching style to the individual/group. What I find works best as a teaching method is briefly starting in the middle of a subject in order to guage student knowledge and comprehension. Subsequently, I will move my lesson(s) towards the bottom or top of the subject depending on what the situation calls for.
