About Haajirah
I am a university student with a strong academic background and a passion for helping others develop confidence in their learning. I achieved National 5 qualifications as well as Highers in English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Human Biology, Geography, French and Philosophy. I am continuing my studies at university in the humanities and social sciences.
Through leadership roles, volunteering and mentoring younger students, I have developed strong communication, organisation and interpersonal skills. I helped to organise fundraising initiatives and community projects, and I have also volunteered with the British Heart Foundation. Additionally, my training as a Mental Health Ambassador and completion of ASIST suicide prevention training have strengthened my ability to listen, encourage and support others in a patient and compassionate manner.
I aim to create a positive, professional and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence and reaching their academic goals. My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, helping them develop both subject knowledge and effective study skills.

I offer friendly, supportive and personalised lessons tailored to each student's needs and learning style. My approach focuses on building confidence alongside subject knowledge, helping students understand concepts clearly rather than simply memorising information. I encourage students to ask questions, think critically and develop independent study skills that will benefit them both in school and beyond.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, although shorter or longer sessions can be arranged depending on the student's age and requirements. Each lesson is structured around clear goals, with explanations, guided practice and opportunities for students to apply what they have learnt.
