About Esme
I am a kind and enthusiastic tutor who recently completed my A levels. I take care to tailor my lessons to each student personally, so that they may get the most out of the sessions. At an A level standard I studied Classics, Philosophy and Drama, and have great love for each of those subjects. I am a highly qualified and supportive tutor, having learnt from my own experiences of taking tutoring lessons. I would be happy to speak with you about how I can help!

A typical lesson is one hour. I will begin by chatting to the student and finding how they learn best, whether that be through practice papers, mind maps or simply talking through examples. I will teach the rest of our sessions in their preferred way. I hold great focus on essay and paragraph structure, as I believe a clear essay allows you to demonstrate your knowledge effectively, and gain higher results. My lessons are beneficial, interactive and have great success. With my previous experience of tutoring students, they have achieved 7s and above in difficult subjects. I tutor in a range of subjects at different levels. For primary and Pre GCSE age I teach maths, English and science. For GCSE age students I teach GCSE English, (lit and lang), Maths, Philosophy, Classical Studies, Biology and Dance. For A level students I teach Classics, Drama and Philosophy.
