About Caleb
Over the last 17 years, I’ve worked as a chemistry tutor with a focus on analytical techniques. My MSc in Medicinal and Biological Chemistry allows me to bring advanced knowledge into simple, clear lessons. Chromatography, spectroscopy, and titrations are core topics I teach with a step-by-step approach. Experimental design is taught as a skill, encouraging learners to think like scientists. I ensure students know not just how to conduct tests, but how to interpret their results meaningfully. Quality control principles are emphasized throughout, as they matter in both academia and industry. I have taught undergraduate lab students as well as learners preparing for careers in quality assurance. My sessions are adaptable to different skill levels, making complex topics approachable. I use structured problem-solving and real-world examples to keep lessons engaging. Confidence grows with every challenge solved. I want learners to see chemistry as a science of patterns and precision. By working carefully with data, discoveries come alive. The joy of chemistry is found in uncovering truths through exact measurement, and that’s what I love to share.

My approach to chemistry emphasizes understanding over memorization. I teach atomic structure, bonding, molecular geometry, and periodic trends with clear visuals and examples. Concepts are explained step by step so students never feel overwhelmed. Visualization plays a central role, making abstract topics concrete. Learners are encouraged to connect chemical ideas to biology, medicine, and the natural world. This makes the subject more meaningful. I offer structured exercises to develop reasoning skills and problem-solving abilities. Learners with career goals in science find this approach highly supportive. Each lesson is flexible but organized to ensure steady growth. I create a safe and patient learning environment. Asking questions is celebrated as part of learning. With regular practice, even complex problems feel simple. Students gain confidence as they see their progress. Chemistry becomes an exciting subject full of discovery.
