About Sara

After studying anthropology and Spanish at university, I took the TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certification, and started working as a teacher. I have 4 years of experience teaching in Chile at Duoc, language institutes and private classes.

About the lesson

My classes are customized to the needs and preferences of each student. Test preparation classes (TOEFL, IELTS, etc.) are more structured and focused on developing specific skills to improve test scores. Conversation classes are more flexible. Sometimes I choose the topics of the classes, according to the needs of the student, or I can plan lessons to help with specific questions at work, or to prepare for an interview or a trip. I can also offer feedback on an application or business plan in English. With beginning students, I offer more structured classes to develop the vocabulary and grammar base they need to speak and understand English.
