About Reginald

I am Science teacher and tutor that believes that knowledge is power, and if anyone applies their acquired knowledge they can accomplish anything in life. Acquiring knowledge doesn't have to be boring, and that's where I come in. I make learning fun.

About the lesson

As a tutor and teacher, I have experience in tailoring complex topics in science and, mathematics for different people, based on their individual learning style and cultural background. My teaching methods are student driven, which means I tailor questions for scholars to drive their own learning. I also provide opportunities for my students to ask questions, and I use their questions to tailor my lessons. A typical lesson starts out with an engaging hook on the topic. Then I introduce the main concepts of my lessons to my students in the form of important vocabulary or key concepts. After introducing the main concepts I follow through with a check for understanding and an engaging activity/experiment, or I have them practice what they learned on their own . At the end of each lesson I have my students come up with questions in regards to the lesson. I use their questions to go over any misconceptions or create my lesson for the next day. What sets me apart as a tutor is that I use real and recent data to drive my instructions, also I'm emphathetic towards all my students. The lessons I teach are for adults with master degrees, teenagers in high school and middle school,and children in grade school
