About Ashvin
I myself am a student and am aspiring to inspire others that learning can be enjoyable. A few things I enjoy are listening to music, playing the guitar and piano, reading, and watching funny videos on youtube. I am an easy-going person that is passionate about teaching or talking about only things I love but also can get distracted quickly. Therefore, you can trust me when I say I will make my classes interesting and fun so that both you and I will have a good time.

A typical lesson will begin with a quick game or chat to relieve students of any stress or nerves. Following this, I will brief the students on the lesson plan for the class and proceed to start teaching the topic using my presentation incorporating animations and relatable examples.
The next step is to solidify the students understanding of the topic discussed with practice questions, using games, quizzes and prizes to motivate students
Personally, I believe learning should be fun, enjoyable and not limit the students thoughts and questions. Therefore, I will never demoralize a student and always encourage asking questions. To me there is no such thing as a silly question because there may be genuine confusion and misunderstanding behind the question, and it takes courage to do so. I will acknowledge their courage and support them as best I can.
As a tutor, I will help students find joy in math and help them identify its utility.
My lessons are generally catered to students from grade 1 to 8 but I am open to tutoring higher grades upon request.
