About Allysa Mae

I am an English tutor with a teaching certificate and extensive experience working with young learners. I make learning an exciting experience by using fun activities such as songs, stories, and games to help students understand better. My classes provide a safe, warm, and encouraging environment where every child feels comfortable to participate and learn. I have taught both face-to-face and online, so I know how to adjust my teaching style to suit different needs. I take my work seriously and always come prepared with engaging lessons. My main goal is to help your child feel confident, happy, and proud of the progress they make in every session.

About the lesson

Hello! I am Allysa. My lessons are designed to be a safe, happy, and productive space for children. I believe that children learn best when they are enjoying themselves, so I make sure each class is fun and stress-free. I focus on building your child’s confidence step by step, helping them not just to learn English, but to enjoy using it. I use age-appropriate activities and lots of positive encouragement to keep them engaged and excited to learn.

My approach is student-centered, using a mix of interactive methods and fun activities suitable for young learners. I use visual aids, gestures, and simple examples to make lessons easy to understand. I use simple, clear language and encourage students to speak up and express themselves. I often review previous lessons to make sure concepts are fully understood before moving on to new topics.

Each lesson follows a simple but effective structure. We usually start with a fun warm-up or simple conversation to get comfortable and ready to learn. Then, we move on to the lesson topic using pictures, stories, or examples. We practice together through games or conversations so the student gets plenty of opportunity to speak. We end with a quick summary and positive feedback, highlighting what was achieved during our time together.

What makes my lessons different is my patience and energy. I make an effort to understand how each child learns best and adapt my style to match their personality and needs. I see myself not just as a teacher, but as a helpful guide and learning partner. I make sure to celebrate every small success, because I believe that building confidence is the most important part of learning a new language.

My lessons are designed for young learners and children at beginner to intermediate levels. Whether your child is just starting to learn English, needs extra help for school, or simply wants to speak more confidently, my lessons are suitable. I welcome students from all backgrounds and make sure every lesson is adapted to match their age and learning pace, making our time together valuable and effective.
