About Manvita
I am 18 years old, born and raised in Michigan. I am South Indian and my mother tongue is Telugu which I can read, speak, and write fluently. I have a sister who is 6 years older than me. I love to read in my free time, my favorite genre is fantasy but I will read anything that's fiction. I want to open up my own business one day and I want to do my Master's in business and a minor in international business and pre-law. In my free time I also like to cook and watch TV shows. I am a huge fan of sitcoms and action movies! One thing you should know about me is that I take any job that I have seriously. I learned early on that English is a skill and people will take you more seriously if you are proficient in it. My goal is to make learning English fun, but to also ensure that your quality and proficiency is better than before!

My lessons are created after I research about the student's school, give them a mock exam to see what level they are at, and what they should be learning based off the results. I use my own resources, Google, and online resources to create catered lesson plans. They involve readings, games, writing, grammar, public speaking, and fun and engaging activities. I am someone who loves to read and English is something I am constantly improving on whether it's teaching myself or my immigrant parents. I love getting to know the kids I work with and I always stay in touch. I strive to become friends with my students and someone they can rely on!
