About Thomas
Hi! I am Thomas, a Mexican-American math student currently acquiring my bachelor's from CSUSM with dreams of getting a job in teaching mathematics. The goal of this dream is to try and change math's general perception as a topic that doesn't make sense, into one that makes natural sense. I believe that everyone can learn math, so please join me in understanding this topic that eludes students everywhere.

My method is behind getting the students to deeply understand the why behind the material, and not the simple learn-then-drop method that is most promoted in K-12 schooling. A typical lesson would consist of reviewing troubling questions and trying to set the topic up for live application, not memorization. Lessons are for all grades, but I am most familiar with Calculus, trigonometry, algebra, and arithmetic.
