About Julie

Hello! I'm a proud mom of two amazing girls, a dedicated second-grade teacher, and a certified reading specialist. I'm also Orton-Gillingham trained. Teaching has always been my passion. I love helping children discover that learning can be fun, engaging, and rewarding.

Outside of the classroom, you'll usually find me spending time with my family, gardening, traveling, cuddling with my animals, or enjoying a slice of pizza. I also love building LEGO creations with my daughters, tackling puzzles, reading, and finding creative ways to make learning exciting.

As both a teacher and a parent, I understand the importance of patience, communication, and meeting children where they are. My goal is not only to help students improve academically but also to help them develop confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

I can't wait to partner with your family and help your child reach their full potential!
