Outside of tutoring, I played rugby and soccer all through high school, and I still try to get out skiing or backpacking whenever I can. I like activities that take real repetition to get good at, and that mindset has stuck with me well beyond sports.

I scored a 1530 on the SAT and have tutored for a national test prep organization.
My method is dialectic: instead of handing over answers, I ask the questions that force a student to work through the problem themselves. That builds a process they can repeat on test day, not a rule that falls apart the moment the question looks unfamiliar.
Every student starts with an evaluation, including a full-length practice test that shows exactly where points are slipping. After a couple of sessions, I build a personalized plan around those specific gaps, drawing from a large bank of practice tests and questions so each session has a clear target.
Sessions also cover the mechanics that separate a good score from a great one: Desmos shortcuts, pacing, and the small habits that save time across every section.
I work with high schoolers at any starting score who want to improve, in person or online, based in Westport, CT.
