About Akaila
My name is Akaila and I'm a Freshman at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (NC A&T). I'm a Landscape Architecture major who is joining multiple groups/organizations to be deeper into HBCU culture. I graduated High School with an International Baccalaureate (IB) certificate, multiple cords, and a stole. I've done a plethora of sports (cheer, volleyball, soccer, etc.), community service, joined clubs (Black Student Union, Latino Student Union, etc.), and more! I love being involved with what's going on in the world and care deeply about making a positive change in society and the world.

My lessons are filled with fun, easy to learn and absorb, and exciting to participate in. I aim to make each lesson personalized to those who I am teaching as a way to make the content easy for them to absorb, apply, and retain. Each student is different and learns in different ways and I piggyback off of that to help them learn in the best ways possible!
