About Christina

I am an undergraduate studing general mathematics. I have volunteered as a tutor since high school. Since then I have worked as a learning assistant for calculus 1 and 2 facilitating lessons and discussion in recitations. During the school year I also work as a math tutor in the Mathematics Academic Resource Center run by CU Boulder. I have tutored students in everything from algebra to linear algebra including all calculus classes.

About the lesson

I can help with both reviewing main topics and helping with assignments. I tend to ask a lot of questions and then explain to try to help the student build their own knowledge. I occasionally draw diagrams or graphs to help a student picture a problem. All in all I’m here to help students truly succeed in any math course they are in. I have taken everying from algebra to analysis and abstract algebra and I empathize with the struggle and frustration all classes and levels come with.
