About Vidhi

I am a PhD in Physics with a lot of passion for the subject. I have been very enthusiastic about Mathematics as well. Since past 10 years I have been tutoring a lot of students throughout the globe from various universities. I get immense satisfaction by solving problems and passing on my knowledge. About the lesson

I teach/tutor/mentor uni/college students for all branches of Physics and Mathematics. I have more than 10 years of professional teaching experience. --I provide customised teaching services based on the requirements of students. --Assignment requirements or specific topics or whole chapter/subjects, I deliver both. --I furnish most relevant examples that make understanding easy and fun. --I provide academic tutoring services, guide and assist students (University) in their assignments, projects, concepts and test preparation. --I provide quality personal/group coaching. --I help struggling students improve their critical thinking and problem-solving skills, motivate them by boosting their self-confidence. I have been covering all the following topics in my lectures. Physics • Forces and Newton’s laws of motion: Newton’s laws of motion, tension, balanced and unbalanced forces etc. • Centripetal force and gravitation: circular motion and centripetal acceleration, Newton’s law of gravitation etc. • Work and energy: springs and Hooke’s law, mechanical advantage • Impacts and linear momentum: momentum and impulse, elastic and inelastic collisions, centre of mass etc. • Torque and angular momentum: rotational kinematics, torque, moments, and angular momentum etc. • Oscillations and mechanical waves: simple harmonic motion (SHM), sound, Doppler’s effect etc. • Fluids: density and pressure, buoyant force and Archimedes principle, fluid dynamics etc. • Thermodynamics: temperature, kinetic theory of gases, laws of thermodynamics etc. • Electric charge, field and potential: charge and electric force (Coulomb’s law), electric field, electric potential energy, electric potential and voltage etc. • Circuits: Ohm’s law and circuits with resistors, circuits with capacitors etc. • Magnetic forces, magnetic fields and Faraday’s law: magnets and magnetic force, magnetic flux and Faraday’s law, magnetic field created by a current etc. • Electromagnetic waves and interference: introduction to electromagnetic waves, interference of electromagnetic waves etc. • Optics: reflection and refraction, mirrors and lenses etc. • Special relativity: Michelson and Morley’s luminiferous ether experiment, Einstein velocity addition, Minkowski spacetime, Lorentz transformation etc. • Quantum physics: photons, nuclei, atoms and electrons, quantum numbers and orbitals etc. • And many more topics. Mathematics • Arithmetic: exponents and powers of ten, add and subtract fractions, decimals and place value etc. • Basic geometry and measurement: angle relationships, geometric transformations, intro to area and perimeter, coordinate plane etc. • Pre-algebra: ratios and rates, equations and inequalities introduction, systems of equations etc. • Algebra basics: algebraic expressions, graphing lines and slope, quadratics and polynomials. • High school geometry: transformation properties and proofs, congruence, similarity, right triangles & trigonometry, conic sections etc. • Intermediate Algebra: polynomial arithmetic and graphs, transformations of functions etc. • Trigonometry: non-right triangles, trigonometric equations and identities etc. • Statistics and probability: analysing categorical data, probability, permutations and combinations etc. • Precalculus: matrices, series and sequences, vectors, rational functions etc. • Differential calculus: limits & continuity, derivatives and its application, parametric equations etc. • Integral calculus: integrals, differential equations, application of integrals. • Multivariable calculus: multivariable functions, multivariable derivatives, Green’s, Stokes and divergence theorem etc. • Differential equations: first order differential equations, second order differential equations, Laplace transform etc. • Linear algebra: vector and spaces, matrix transformations etc.
