About Raymond
I have taught undergraduate and graduate level statistics for the past 11 years at various colleges and universities nationwide. I am also the Lead Statistician in my division of the US Department of Treasury. I have a PhD in Statistical Climatology, two Masters degrees (Statistics and Atmospheric Science) and a Bachelors in Mathematics.

I am a strong believer in active learning. I do not lecture to my students. Typically, I produce a mini-lesson to introduce a topic. However, the students' participation guide the remainder of the session. This process has been very successful for my undergraduate and graduate students. While I generally teach college students, the education literature suggests that active learning is more effective in K-12 than typical passive learning.
