About Olivia

I am a primary teacher based in London with 3+ years' experience.

I love teaching and getting to work one-on-one with students to support them in achieving their full potential is perhaps the most rewarding part of the job!

Finding out what works best for you/your child as an individual learner is my top priority. I ensure that our sessions are engaging, informative and fun by listening to you and your needs. Combining this with my experience and expertise, I am determined to ensure that all tutees of mine grow in confidence and achieve the most out of their education.

About the lesson

I am a graduate of the University of Cambridge's PGCE programme, with experience teaching in both the independent and state sectors. Whilst I am primary trained, I am an experienced English teacher and have privately tutored students in Years 4-7, working towards both the 11+ and 13+ assessments.

I have a sound understanding of the National Curriculum for primary education and would be able to tutor in any primary-based subjects.

My sessions are typically 1 hour and focus upon refining exam technique by working through practice papers and teaching strong essay writing techniques.
