I've worked with Randy from time to time over the course of 6 years. He's a dedicated educator who always prioritises his students and focuses on THEIR needs. He's charismatic character makes it easy for students to relax and freely make mistakes which allows them to study earnestly. He's an amazing teacher!

1. How do you know each other?*
I was his supervisor from 2018 at Pick n Pay . During that time, I worked closely with him on a daily basis and had the opportunity to observe his work ethic, character, and growth. Even after he left, we have kept in touch, and I’m glad to see he is now serving as a tutor.

2. What kind of person is this person?
He is a caring, patient, and humble, individual who genuinely puts others first. He has excellent listening skills* , people feel heard and valued around him. He is also ,eager to learn, and never satisfied with “good enough.” What stands out most is his *willingness to go the extra mile* without being asked, whether it was staying late to finish a task or helping a colleague who was struggling.

3. Tell us about the experience you shared together?
During 2018, I supervised him in the frontline as a Cashier and assistant Supervisor. One thing I will always remember is his teaching ability, — he had a natural way of explaining things clearly and breaking down difficult tasks so others could understand.
Customers would recommend him with excellent customer service.
Also showed strong responsibility and reliability. Even when work was demanding, he remained calm, respectful, and focused on getting the job done well.

I recommend him without hesitation because he combines , skill with character . As a tutor now, he has built on the teaching and mentoring strengths I saw in him years ago. He is trustworthy, hardworking, and brings a positive spirit to any team. Most importantly, he cares — he doesn’t just do the job, he invests in people.
