About the lesson

Hi there, my name is Eve and I am an experienced English tutor based in Leeds. I hold a degree from the University of Leeds and have several years of tutoring experience under my belt.

I believe that every student is unique and has their own learning style, which is why I adapt my techniques and teaching methodology to suit the individual needs of each student. I strive to create a relaxed and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing their ideas. My approach to teaching involves breaking down complex concepts into easy-to-understand steps and using examples that are relevant to the student's interests.

A typical lesson with me lasts for one hour, although I am flexible and can accommodate longer or shorter sessions depending on the needs of the student. During the lesson, we will work through a range of activities designed to improve the student's reading, writing, and critical thinking skills. I will provide feedback and guidance throughout the lesson to help the student reach their full potential.

In terms of my qualifications, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art from the University of Leeds, however I have written for a number of magazine and blogs, and achieved A* in English Language and English literature at GCSE and an 7 In IB English . I have also worked as a tutor for several years, helping students of all ages and levels to achieve their academic goals.

My lessons are suitable for students up to GCSE level, including those who may be struggling with the subject or who simply want to improve their skills. I have experience working with students of different ages, from primary school children to A level students looking for help with their personal statements.
