About Euan
Hi, I’m Euan — a University of Melbourne Bachelor of Commerce student with a strong interest in helping students feel more confident and capable in their learning.
I understand how challenging senior secondary subjects can be, especially when content starts to feel overwhelming or stressful. Having recently completed VCE myself, I have a clear understanding of the curriculum, assessment expectations, and exam techniques that lead to strong results. My goal is not just to help students improve their grades, but to help them build long-term skills in organization, problem-solving, and independent thinking.
I am reliable, patient, and professional in my approach to tutoring. I take the time to understand each student’s strengths, weaknesses, and learning style, and I tailor lessons accordingly. Parents and students can expect clear communication, structured lessons, and consistent support.
I tutor VCE Economics and Business Management, as well as lower-level Mathematics, and I offer flexible online lessons that fit around busy school schedules.

My approach to tutoring is structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I focus on building strong foundational understanding first, then developing exam technique and confidence through targeted practice questions and real VCAA-style examples. Lessons are interactive rather than lecture-based — I encourage students to ask questions, explain their thinking, and actively engage with the content so they truly understand it rather than just memorising answers.
My typical lesson length is 1 hour, which I find works best for maintaining focus and productivity. I currently teach lower-level Mathematics (ideal for students who want to strengthen core skills and confidence), as well as all levels of VCE Economics and VCE Business Management, including students aiming for high study scores.
I am a University of Melbourne Bachelor of Commerce student and recently completed Year 12, giving me a strong understanding of the VCE curriculum and what examiners look for. This allows me to provide students with practical strategies, clear explanations, and relevant study advice.
My lessons are suited for secondary school students, particularly those studying VCE Economics, VCE Business Management, and lower to mid-level Mathematics, whether they need support with content, SAC preparation, or exam revision.
