My teaching approach centers on helping each student discover and develop their unique voice with confidence and joy. I create a warm, encouraging space where adult beginners and ensemble singers alike can grow without fear or pressure. Whether you’re stepping into lessons for the first time or preparing for a church performance, I meet you where you are and guide you step by step. I focus on foundational vocal technique, breath control, tone development, and pitch accuracy, always tailored to your personal goals. My sessions often include audition preparation, helping you manage nerves and shine under pressure with poise and expression. We also explore song interpretation—understanding lyrics, conveying emotion, and connecting with the audience. For those who sing in groups, I offer support in blending harmonies, developing listening skills, and building stage confidence. We work on posture, vocal placement, and resonance to create a healthy, sustainable sound. I use relatable examples, uplifting exercises, and familiar songs to help make learning enjoyable and effective. Every lesson is a chance to celebrate progress and reconnect with the joy of music. With over 6 years of experience and a Licentiate of Music in Voice, I specialize in creating joyful, inclusive group singing experiences. My classes are designed for families, siblings, and parent-child duos who want to explore the magic of music together. I focus on building confidence and connection through partner harmonies, call-and-response singing, and playful sing-along games.
Whether it’s a sibling trio learning to blend or a parent-child duet discovering shared rhythm, every session is tailored to nurture both vocal growth and family bonding. My teaching covers uplifting genres like Disney favorites, soul-stirring Gospel, Broadway-style Musical Theater, and timeless Singalong Classics. These familiar tunes help students of all ages feel at ease while learning important vocal techniques.
Group dynamics are at the heart of my teaching style. I encourage teamwork, listening, and celebration of each person’s unique sound. From matching pitch to exploring dynamics, we work together to create beautiful and expressive performances.
