About Lucy

Hi! I’m a Mechanical Engineering student at Johns Hopkins University with over 4 years of tutoring experience. I’m also a UPenn-certified tutor trained in Metasocratic tutoring, which means I focus on helping students build strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, not just memorize answers. In addition to working with students across different academic levels, I’ve also gained valuable experience teaching elementary schoolers through volunteering, which taught me how to make learning engaging, patient, and accessible. My teaching method and techniques:

6. Wrap-up: I summarize the main takeaways, reinforce strategies, and set a plan for what to review next.
