About Carma

Music education often neglects the physical tension inherent in standard bowing techniques until injury occurs. 9 years of experience and work with 120 students have taught me that tone production requires more than repetition.

I focus on shifting positions and spiccato or staccato bowing while integrating double stops for advanced students. My Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance from the New England Conservatory informs my approach to general music theory and ear training for string players. I am the precise instructor you need for ABRSM or Trinity grade exam prep.

About the lesson

Diagnostic assessment before setting the practice plan defines the start of our time together. We analyze your current posture and intonation to identify gaps in your technical foundation. This method utilizes the 9 years of experience I have gained since completing my degree. I ensure that every shift and double stop aligns with current music theory standards.
