About Heather
I have a B.A. in Music Education and have been teaching music to elementary, middle, and high school students for about 10 years. I specialize in viola and violin, however, I teach instruments in both the band and orchestra. Many of my students have continued playing their instruments past the first few years of learning because of their positive experience with me.

I am a kind and patient teacher. I believe my students learn the most if they are able to play the instrument as much as possible and having fun while doing it. I enjoy coming up with music games for my students which helps them learn concepts quicker.
