About Vita

I propose an ultra personalized teaching format, seeking to meet the specific needs of each student. From an initial conversation, I will develop a search for vocabularies specific to your professional area or subjects of interest, so we can simulate probable conversations in specific situations. In another situation: a student has no specific plans for his / her learning and already has basic grammatical knowledge, but believes that he / she cannot speak (usually out of shame. :) In this case I propose to simulate conversations based on subjects that the person knows well and you're interested in. These subjects can be personal, professional, or even about films, books, TV programs, international news, etc.

About the lesson

In 2010 (after graduating in Cinema and working in the audiovisual production area in Rio de Janeiro for 2 years), I moved to Stockholm, Sweden, where I studied Swedish and worked with post-production of TV programs. In 2012 I went to the Fine Arts course at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy, in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, where I have lived until 2020. In Amsterdam, I completed the Fine Arts course and started a Master in Cultural Studies (with a focus on writing) by the Sandberg Institute, where I graduated in July 2019. Due to cancellations caused by the pandemic in my artist career, I decided to carry forward my old desire to teach English and still generate a supplement to my current income. I am a socially engaged person and I believe in the power of education as a tool for both personal and social transformation. In addition, we are currently stuck at home. Why not use this time to allow for exchanges, learning and the imagination of new experiences to come?
