About Ruth
I admit that being a self-taught musician taught me as much about vocal health as any formal conservatory. My 13 years of gigging in Latin pop and Tex-Mex bands helped me master belting technique and breath control.
I work primarily with hobbyists and performance-focused students. Managing stage fear is a constant part of my own routine on stage.
I prioritize diction and articulation to ensure your voice carries clearly. You will find that I am very patient with returning learners. I treat singing as a physical skill that requires care. My own journey reflects the value of constant practice.

Does your voice feel tight when you try to hit the higher notes? I start by fixing your breathing control and warm up exercises to prevent strain. A personalized song list built around each student's range ensures you practice music you enjoy. We look at rhythm and phrasing to make your performance stand out.
I use my background in Latin pop to teach better pitch control. You will learn to manage stage fear through repeated practice in our sessions. My 13 years of experience guides how we approach vocal health together.
