About Carrie
Music has defined my life since childhood and informs my approach to teaching students of all ages. My 13 years of experience include coaching absolute beginners alongside those preparing for rigorous grade exams.
I find that teaching kids and self-taught players provides a unique perspective on the mechanics of sound production. Developing technique remains the primary focus of my instruction while ensuring that the enjoyment of playing never disappears. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Studies from the Manhattan School of Music.
My instruction covers essential skills like head and chest voice, vibrato control, and vocal range extension. Managing stage fear and building performance confidence are also key parts of the work we do together. Please feel free to reach out to discuss your goals.

We also spend time on stage fear management to ensure you feel ready for any audience. My background at the Manhattan School of Music shapes the exercises I use to expand vocal range. Students often find that consistent practice leads to significant growth within just 1 term.
